With a stitch spacing of 1.5 bu, it combines the typical strength of tightly stitched futon seams with exceptionally high flexibility – for a men that adapts ever better to your head and your kihon over time.

The Tezashi Men 1.5bu is entirely handmade: from cutting the fabric and stitching the futon to assembly, every step is carried out using traditional craftsmanship. The stitch spacing of 1.5 bu corresponds to approximately 4.5 mm and ensures a dense, finely structured stitch surface that effectively distributes impacts whilst offering a very sensitive feel when worn. This method of production is labour-intensive and requires a great deal of experience – in return, you receive a men that significantly surpasses standard bogu in terms of protection, comfort and durability.

Thanks to the use of 100% cotton in heavy #8,800 quality, the futon provides a voluminous, stable base with excellent cushioning. The reinforcements made from genuine, indigo-dyed deerskin protect the areas subject to particular wear and tear and give the men a refined, classic look, as found only in high-quality Tezashi-bogu.

As the Tezashi Men 1.5bu is made to order, you should expect a production time of around three months.
