The Shinai MOKU is a competition shinai with a large grip, specially designed for kendoka who prefer a thicker grip diameter. The thicker tsuka allows for stable hand guidance and supports precise control over the shinai during training and shiai.

Material

The shinai is made from carefully selected, densely grown bamboo. This material quality ensures consistent flexibility and high stability in daily training.

Only gin leather is used for the leather parts – high-quality grain leather from cowhide, which is valued for its durability and long-lasting quality.

Balance & use

With a handle diameter of approx. 2.8 cm, the shinai offers a particularly secure grip for kendoka with larger hands.

This design ensures smooth, stable handling of the shinai and enables controlled execution of powerful techniques – especially in competition and intensive training.
