The Premium Shinai HEKITEN Dobari Tsukatan is a high-quality competition shinai made from Keichiku bamboo, designed for kendoka who prefer a fast and controlled swing. Thanks to its classic Dobari shape, the centre of gravity is closer to the hand, ensuring a light, dynamic swing.
A particularly distinctive feature is the Tsukatan design: although the shinai has the standard length of 39 cm, the grip length corresponds to that of a 38 cm shinai. This makes the shinai feel particularly compact and controlled in the hand. This design is ideal for kendoka with smaller hands or for slightly shorter men who prefer a more precise tenouchi and rapid changes of technique.
