The HANAYAGI shinai combines the best of both worlds: the length of a 39cm shinai meets the weight and grip feel of a 38cm shinai. Specially designed for kendoka who want to utilise greater reach without compromising on speed and control – ideal for competition.
In addition, the HANAYAGI is also available in a 38cm version with the feel of a 37cm shinai – perfect for kendoka who prefer the same balance and dynamism in a shorter version.
Material & Shape
Manufactured in Japan in the classic Jissen Gata Tsukatan Hosomi shape, the HANAYAGI impresses with its slim construction, a pronounced first knot and particularly fast rebound. The result: a shinai that is light, direct and precise to handle.
