Construction & protection concept

The 5 mm seam spacing refers to the distance between the parallel quilted seams.
The closer this spacing, the more stable the structure of the futon – and the better the protective effect.

With this entry-level armour, special attention has been paid to reinforced areas to ensure a long service life even with intensive use.

The combination of #6000 cotton, high-quality cowhide leather and Clarino leather ensures a good balance between protection and mobility.

Comfort & suitability for everyday use

The armour is designed for regular training and is comfortable to wear.

It is particularly suitable for kendōka who are still growing or who are looking for an economical solution for study and training – without compromising on safety.

For long-term, very intensive training, closer quilting (e.g. 3 mm) is recommended.

Workmanship & materials

The assembly is done entirely by hand.
Reinforcements and decorative applications are precisely machine-woven.
