The KOTE MAMORI is a specially designed protective wrap for kendoka who wish to provide targeted relief for their right hand and wrist during training.
The right hand in particular is regularly subjected to strain and impacts in kendo. The KOTE MAMORI reliably protects sensitive areas without restricting your freedom of movement or your grip.

Material & Function
Inside is a modern silicone pad, used in this form for the first time in a kendo bandage.
The high shock absorption noticeably reduces the impact of strikes and ensures comfortable wear even during prolonged, intensive training.
It specifically protects the back of the hand, the particularly sensitive area at the base of the index finger, and the bony area on the outside of the wrist.
Fit & Construction
The special fastening system ensures a secure fit: the KOTE MAMORI is not pulled over the hand, but wrapped around the arm.
This ensures the protector sits securely without causing pressure points, and does not restrict movement of either the wrist or the palm.
Your hand remains free to move – for a natural grip and unrestricted control over your shinai.
