Is your kote still in good condition, but the palm leather has worn out? Then our repair service for your kote’s palm leather is exactly what you need. This way, you can continue to use your well-worn kote instead of replacing it just because the palm leather is worn out.

Targeted repair instead of buying new

Minor damage is normal in everyday kendo: if the tenouchi has one or two holes, it’s usually not worth buying a new kote straight away. In this case, we repair the affected areas with a suitable piece of deerskin – sturdy, functional and designed for long-term use.

If there are three or more holes in the inner leather, we recommend replacing the tenouchi completely. This gives you clean, fully functional inner leather, allowing you to continue using your kote with its familiar fit and grip.
