The new iaito out of the akizu-line of Kendo24 are masterpieces of sword manufacturing. Made of stainless steel the iaito are polished, not covered with chrome. Small scratches could simply be polished off. 

The hilt is fixed with two mekugi, the fine tsuba, fuchi kashira and handmade saya are composing a picture of a perfect sword for practise.

The iaito are well balanced, high quality steel avoids the breaking of the sword in regular practise!
