How can I clean hakama and keiko-gi?
When washing a kendo-gi that has been dyed with indigo, turn it inside out first and wash by hand. Hang it out to dry in the shade.
Wash an indigo dyed hakama in the same way as a kendo-gi, taking particular care of the pleats.
Refrain from using washing machines, dryers and detergents. Do not wash with other garments ;-)
